Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Nissan NV 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2016 Nissan NV 2500, we're gonna be installing CURT's class four two inch trailer hitch receiver, part number C14000, and this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed.As you can see, the cross tube is gonna be a little bit visible underneath the bumper, and you're gonna be able to see the receiver sticking out almost flush with the bumper there.This is a class four two inch by two inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all your towing needs, from trailers, bike racks, or anything extra heavy duty, this one's gonna be able to handle it.It feature plate style safety chain loops and it has a decent size opening on it that should accommodate most size safety chains.It uses a five eighths inch hitch pin. Now, one does come included with the kit, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com.It features a 1,000 pound tongue weight, that's the force going down on the receiver. And a 10,000 pound gross towing capacity, and that's how much it can pull behind it.And when using a weight distribution system, it's going to increase the tongue weight to 1,200 pounds and the gross towing capacity to 12,000 pounds.You do wanna check your vehicle's owners manual to ensure you're not exceeding its towing capacities.And now, to help you on deciding on accessories, I've got some measurements for you. From the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube, it measures about 15 and a half inches. This is important when deciding if you need drop, rise, or raise shank on your accessory.From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the rear bumper, it's gonna measure about three inches. This is important when deciding if any of your folding accessories will contact the bumper when placed in the upright storage position.We'll begin our installation under the vehicle on the drivers side. more

You will be able to see a bit of the cross bar underneath, under the bumper, and the receiver tube is gonna stick out just about flush with your bumper, only going back a little bit. It's a Class 3 2-inch by 2-inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all of your needs, from towing trailers to hauling bike racks. This thing will do just about all you need.It features plate-style safety chain loops, and there's a decent size opening that should accommodate most size safety chains.It uses a 5/8-inch hitch pin and clip. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Nissan NV 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Nissan NV2500, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's Class Three 2-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part Number: 75715.And this is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is going to be visible underneath the bumper, but you're really only going to notice the receiving tube here at the end.It's a Class Three, 2" by 2" receiver. So, this is going to be great for just about all your needs, from hauling trailers to bike racks, this thing will do it.It features extra large safety chain plates. This has an extremely large opening, so it'll definitely accommodate any size safety chain that you may have.It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now, one doesn't come included with this, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com, using Part Number: PC3.Additionally, the small hole located in front of the hitch pin hole, will allow it to accommodate a J-Pin. more

Today on our 2012 Nissan NV well be installing Hidden Hitch, part number 87610. Next well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is three inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 17; this will assist you with selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now lets go ahead with installation. Before we install the hitch lets go ahead and point out the attachment points, there are four attachment points on each side totaling eight attachment points. more
